Court Information Online

The District Clerk’s Office is going to be posting docket information online.  If you are trying to get court information on an individual you can go to the online dockets to look it up.  You will be able to get information for both Civil and Criminal courts.  The new online service will begin November 14, 2011.

There will only be 3 days worth of dockets to begin with but the program will be expanded.  To view the site you can go to or click the link.

Walter – Call Central Records at 210-335-6201. You will need the inmates name and date of birth. Ask them to look up what court the individual’s case is in then ask for the phone number for that court. Call the court during the regular 8 – 5, Monday – Friday schedule. They will be able to tell you when his court date will be.

Danielle – We’re kind of having to guess about what you may be talking about. We’re thinking someone may have had a parole or probation violation and is pending a review/hearing. If this is what is happening then the inmate is waiting for the parole board or his probation officer to review his current situation to determine if it is enough of a violation to revoke his parole or probation.

My husband was taken in on a child support warrant four days ago… What is the usual time of incarceration for non payment of child support in bexar county?

    • admin

Crystal – Child support is kind of tricky. Mostly it depends on what the judge decides. Your best bet is to contact your husband’s attorney to find out what your husband has to complete.

My sister is being held at the annex she had court on jan 21 but on that day i guess the jail or “someone” contacted her lawyer stating she was going to have jail court…can you please explain the procedure. I have never heard of this.

    • admin

Cindy – It’s just court that is set up to handle the inmates there at the jail. It saves from having to transport so many people to the courthouse. There is limited room for this so it’s basically like one courtroom being handled there rather than the multiple courts that are at the courthouse. The procedures are the same, just a different location.

My fiancee was arrested 6 days ago. He hasnt had any phone calls from an attorney appointed to him. Is there anyway I can find out if he has a lawyer or if he has a court date yet?

I am on the County Clerk & District Clerk Court Records Search and I see that my boyfriend’s file was updated today with this wording – “DC FILE-PEN PK SEC”
Does anyone know what that means? He was just sentenced on Monday, but is eligible for mandatory parole right now so we did not think they would transfer him to prison. At least not this quick. I’m concerned because he usually calls me about noon and I have not heard from him today either. Thanks for your help and this site! I’ve found many answers to my questions on here and it has eliminated a lot of stress for both him and I.

    • admin

Kathleen – DC stands for District Court. PEN PK stands for Penitentiary Pack. This is a file that is put together on an inmate that is going to be transferred to the penitentiary. We are not sure what SEC stands for but it looks like the district court wants a pen pack filed because this person is being sent to the penitentiary.

my son, Clarence Wadley, was picked up in Dallas and transported back to Bexar County for probation violation, he didn’t finish his community service and did not finish paying his fines due to lack of employment. That was 9/12/14 and he still has not been to court. Today is 10/06/14, how long do you usually hold someone before giving them a court date??

    • admin

Gloria – This is not the Bexar County jail. We are a private website that tries to help people deal with the jail. Your son already had a court date. The judge sentenced him then allowed him to do probation. Your son did not meet the criteria set by the court and can be left to do the full length of time the judge determined. You need to speak to his attorney.

John – The court has to process the paperwork then get it to the jail. The jail then has to process her out. It can all take quite a few hours. If she has any additional charges that other agencies want her for she will be transferred to them.

    • admin

Jessica – MA means it’s a class A misdemeanor. The charge is assault bodily injury. A motion was entered for adjudicated guilt. 10% of $50,000 is $5,000.

Hello. I am getting tired of getting text messages from people who where in jail with my daughter. These people say they need some money to get her out. They have taken money from other folks and keep asking for more. I told the old folks to NOT GIVE them money. I have called y’all and you all told me what’s going on so I am sticking with that. Do I need to go in person to your office and get BETTER clearance of the situation?!!

    • admin

Priscilla – We are not the Bexar County jail. We are a private website that attempts to help the family and friends of incarcerated people.

My brother was arrested on June 27,2015…..I called 210-335-0200 to find out wat his court date is and his court opponent attorney but I was told he had to call himself even though he’s behind bars….Is there any other way can I get this info for him?

    • admin

Mona – Call Central Records at 210-335-6201. Ask them what court his case is assigned to then ask them for the phone number to that court. The court clerk should be able to give you the information you need.

I had a warrant for my arrest I was on probation for ASSAULT BODILY INJURY-MARRIED. I have been doing everything right and stay out of trouble I done all my classes and I am up to date on my child support and my probation fees are ahead. But my wife has been calling in false police report on me staying I have been VIOLATING THE PROTECTIVE ORDER that I have on me for almost the 2 years I am down to the last 4 months before it ends and I was already going to start my early tremendous on my probation. But now I have this MTN ENT ADJ GUILT. I have sone proof that my wife put false reports the days and times she is saying i violated I was at work on the other side of town. Do I have a good chance that they will dismiss the MTN ENT ADJ GUILT and I won’t get revoked my probation and not go to jail and will my wife get into trouble for this at court what will happen

  9. Jorge

Sorry this part was suppose to say

I have been on a PROTECTION ORDER FOR ALMOST THE 2 YEARS NOW. And my wife has not let me see my kids or talk to them for almost a year because she has her biyfriend living there at our house and now that i am finlly down to my last 4 months she has been calling in false police reports on me saying i am VIOLATING THE PROTECTIVE ORDER i have not do anything to cause me to violate the protection order i am down to my last 4 months before it ends and there is no more protected order on me and I was already going to start my early tremendous on my probation so after all of that is done I could return home to my kids but my wife don’t want me to get to go home to our house because of her boyfriend she has there. So when I go to court and can prove and show them that my wife was lying what will happen to her and do I have a good chance to win this case so they don’t revoke my probation (MTN ENT ADJ GUILT )

    • admin

Jorge – lying under oath (perjury) is a crime. We have no way of knowing if you have a good chance of winning your case. You need to speak to your attorney.

I am trying to find if there would be a reason why one of the charges that was brought up against my son is not listed on the Bexar County Records Search. The possession of marijuana and the revoking of probation was listed but supposedly he had a felony charge of possession of a firearm but it does not show this.
Also is it normal to give a bond on a revoking a Post adjudication probation? He has a 40 thousand dollar bond for the revoking the probation. Any help would be appreciated.

    • admin

Eric – Call Central Records to see what charges your son has. They will give you the information if your son is still incarcerated. Bond is determined by the judge.

If my Husband was sentenced 6 years and the judge gave him credit for all the time served hes had already… and on the website it says 00MTHS184DYS000HR but then it has these codes…PEN PK TO SHER OFC
02/18/2016 DC FILE FORWARD TO D187
02/19/2016 DC FILE REC IN CRT D187TH
    02/26/2016 DC FILE TO IMAGING

what does this mean? and if hes getting ready to be sent to the penitentiary, does the parole board look at his time first….because why transfer him if hes already eligible for parole? and how do i go about getting the parole board to determine his eligibility? please help, sorry if i’m unclear.

    • admin

Jess – Don’t worry too much about those notations. They are just processes. PEN PK is short for penitentiary pack. It’s just the documentation related to his case. You can try calling Pardons & Paroles at 210-436-5885 to see what they can tell you about his parole eligibility.

    • admin

Gina – The jail doesn’t give out court information. You will have to contact the court he is assigned to. If you don’t know what court that is and he is still in jail you can contact Central Records at 210-335-6201. They will be able to look up the court and the phone number for the court.

i had requested “trial by Jury” to my sons attorney. I received a Subpoena to appear in court as a witness. A couple of resets later My son went to court and was sentenced without my presence by the judge and without a jury to hear all the facts about how he was involved in an FSRA

    • pinkpebbles

To top it off, Arresting Officer had failed to read him his rights when he was arrested.I got this information from Court Appointed Attorney whom claimed it was on the time of arrest video

  14. Amanda

Why has my fiancees court date not been updated??? He had court on Friday, and now all it says is DC FILE FORWARD TO D187… I think you’re also supposed to give a new court date as well.

You people are holding him over an 11 year old charge, he’s missing time with his small baby, all because you guys couldn’t get your crap straight 10 years ago? Outrageous. It goes without saying, we will be looking into filing a lawsuit against Bexar county.

Amanda – We are not the Bexar County Jail. We are a private website that tries to help people who have to deal with the Bexar County Jail. We wish you the best in getting your situation straightened out.

What are the potential consequences for not completing probation? The scenario – person charged with felony possession of c.s. and received probation, community service and fine and upon completion it will be deferred. The first date for probation to end came and fine wasn’t paid (only about 1/5 of balance was paid) service hours weren’t done so probation was extended. In 1 week is the deadline for extension period and both items are still not completed. What is likely to happen at this point?

    • admin

Dani – Odds are high a warrant will be issued for the individual’s arrest.

how can i get an inmate released due to living income and children care cost support system and expecting another baby or how can i get a hold of head of the jail 200 n comal 78207

    • admin

Sandra – We understand that things are but that’s something only the judge on the case can decide. You need to speak to the inmate’s attorney to see if he can maybe get the inmate put on work release. The head of the jail is the Sheriff and even he can’t help you with this.

      T. Turner – More than likely it means that he has been determined to be able to afford his own attorney rather being supplied one at tax payer’s expense. You can call the court his case is scheduled in to be sure.

    07/24/2018 ARRAIGNMENT
    07/24/2018 HEARING HELD
    07/24/2018 TRIAL HELD

    • admin

Grz – Whenever action happens on a case it is noted in down. These are the judicial notes on the case. We don’t really deal with the judicial information. That is something the courts handle. We deal with jail information. From what you have given it looks like the arraignment, hearing and trial were all held. A penitentiary packet was created and sent. The case file was forwarded to District Court 175 and the sentence expired. That’s how we read it but like we said, this isn’t really our area. We suggest you call the District Court 175 to ask the court clerk what it means to be sure.

Looked up my children’s father case first it said waiting to be transferred to TDC now it says dc file microfilmed bx18-513 Dan you explain what this means

    • admin

Tracy – There are different retention periods for different kinds of documents. His case has been filed away with the location of where it is filed, noted. That’s all it means.

Darius – We work on information that applies to the jail and arrest. If you are finding something listed by the county courts, that’s judicial. Who knows what abbreviations they’re chosing to use. You would do better to call the courthouse.
