Towed Vehicle

If you are looking for a vehicle that was towed by either Bexar County or San Antonio Police it helps to know which agency made the arrest since they would be the ones who had the vehicle towed.

If the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office was the arresting agency then you would have to contact:

Texas Towing

422 Steves

San Antonio, Texas

210-220-1000

You will need either the license plate number or the vehicle identification number (VIN). They are open 24 hours.  They say only the registered owner will be allowed to reclaim a vehicle but if someone has the legal documentation to act in the place of the owner I imagine they would release the vehicle to him.

If the San Antonio Police Department was the arresting agency then you would have to contact:

United Road Towing Vehicle Storage

3625 Growden Road

San Antonio, Texas

210-431-8200

Or go to their website at:   Vehicle Storage Facility

You will need either a license plate number, vehicle identification number (VIN) or an SAPD case number.  This facility is open 24 hours except for shift changes which occur from 6:30 – 7:00 am, 2:30 – 3:00 pm, and 10:30 – 11:00 pm.

The registered owner can reclaim the vehicle or someone with the legal authority to act in their place.  The website says to call the facility to find out what paperwork they need for you to be able to retrieve a vehicle that you are not the legal owner of.

I got a letter from Bexar County Vehicle Storage Facility dated, 01/14/17. Reference####### about a car I use to own. a 1993 Cadillac 4 door, VIN#@@@@@@@@@@@.
I traded-in this car on 12/13/16 at L***** D**** A***** for a new car. The agency told me that they were going to auction this car. I figure that the proper paperwork hasn’t been processed in Austin,TX, that is why the VIN is still coming back to me. Please call the agency to verify this information. Thank you.
    Sincerely,
    Ricardo

Ricardo – We are not the Bexar County jail. We are a privately owned website that attempts to help people who are dealing with the jail. We cannot help you. You need to contact the BCSO.
