05/22/2012 – Christopher Acuna Temporarily Escapes Jail
Inmate Christopher Acuna was able to escape the jail for a very short period of time today. There are no details of how he escaped but Acuna was caught under the Commerce Street bridge by detectives. It does not appear that Acuna had a plan for this escape. He was still in the orange inmate uniform and was walking away. No one appeared to have been waiting to pick him up. At this time it seems the escape was one of opportunity.
